吳志揚說，桃縣負債不但沒增加，還減少，是除金馬外全國第二少，財政管理連續3年全國第一。老街溪及南崁溪改造，「也是外界不看好狀況下，貫徹我們的政策」，時下有熱門騎馬舞的「江南Style」（歌名），「我也有我的吳志揚Style」，這就是實踐對鄉親承諾的方式。
